Job Description

• Full time 
• M-F
• 8:15am-2:45pm
• 9th-12th grade kiddos
• Our program helps facilitate learning through building relationships with students. It’s not traditional in the sense students are not sitting listening to a teacher for 6 straight hours but they are checking in for attendance and asking for assistance during the day. Our students all have a disability and some other life circumstances that may restrict them from attending in person or working on academics during certain hours of the day.
• The ideal candidate will have heavy experience with online curriculum and special education/mental health; candidate can also operate Google features like email, drive, docs, and sheets

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education and then a Master's degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• IL Special Educator Cert for appropriate grade levels
• PEL
• Special Education Teaching Experience 
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

• 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
• 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
